As stated online netherite is 100% blast resistant, but I was killed by a creeper and then another creeper blew up near me which exploded the netherite armor and destroyed it

However, this issue has been closed as Working as Intended.
A block of Netherite is blast resistant, but not Netherite armor. This behavior is consustent between Bedrock Edition and Java Edition.
