Minecraft Bedrock for Windows will not update to 1.19.60 with launcher OR Microsoft Store

I just downloaded Minecraft Bedrock for Windows using the launcher. It downloads as version 1.19.51. Latest version is 1.19.60. It would not let me join a Realm because of the outdated version. Searched the launcher and looked up online resources for how to update. Nothing worked. Uninstalled the game and reinstalled using the Microsoft Store in conjunction with the Xbox app. Followed all directions. Minecraft once again downloaded as 1.19.51. It should not be this hard to properly install the game. Can't find anywhere to get technical support. Why can't I install the current version of the game, and how do I fix this?
