I cannot play Mcpe 0.16.0 build 1 because when open the app it close please fix :'(

According to my friend 0.15.0 stopped support for android versions under 4.2 , I can not confirm if this is the same on 0.16.0 or confirm if what he says is true because I don't have an android version under 5.1.1 other than a gingerbread device

Please try renaming or deleting the resource_packs folder then restarting the game. If this does not work, please comment your device make, mode, version of OS, any mods or third party apps you have installed on MCPE-16647.

0.15 required android 4.2 or greater because it uses features of the operating system that only exist in 4.2 or greater. Accordingly, I expect (but cannot confirm, since I'm a volunteer, not a developer) that 0.16 will have at least the same requirements.
