Steps to Reproduce:
Enter any experimental world while using any PBR resource pack (the attached, for example) that includes texture sets for the Decorated Pot
Observe the surface of the Decorated Pot
Observed Results:
The decorated pot acts similarly to Chests, where it does not accept any PBR textures and remains using a completely rough material regardless of texture set definition.
Expected Results:
Decorated Pots should accept and display PBR textures when they are applied in the resource pack, just like how all other blocks should function as well.

No. That issue describes the z-fighting experienced by the different surfaces of the pot. This issue is similar to the issues with chests, trapped chests, ender chests and piston arms as all of these objects don't support PBR textures.
Do you perhaps have an example on how the blocks mentioned and decorated pot should look like? Can you upload screenshots or videos?
I would have an example if these blocks could apply PBR textures, but in order to get the same effect their models must be recreated and converted to blocks to demonstrate PBR capabilities. At the moment they function the same as entities and never apply any of the PBR textures that they are assigned.
