Not only was I having an issue with my inventory being deleted last night, but now when I try to log into a world to see if it has been fixed it won't even load and the game will completely shut off and go back to the home screen on the Xbox to where I have to then load up Minecraft again but never actually lets me log into my world. I've tried both my survival and creative worlds and get the same thing.

Since the issue with my inventory being deleted an reset to spawn as if I was a new player started last night, before logging in to Minecraft I've checked for updates and there hasn't been anything in there. I've even uninstalled and reinstalled the game.
When is it specifically exiting the game?
Is it in launching Minecraft, or opening a world?
If it happens opening an existing world, are you able to create a new world?
It's happening when I click on the world I want play, it'll act like it's loading but then the loading bar will get this blocky purple where the " generating world and building terrain" words are I'll try to attach photos. After reading your last comment I did go and create a random world and it logged in after hitting create. I hit save and quit and went back into and it loaded fine I did the same with a previous world but I'm still getting the same thing
Is your Xbox in the middle of updating Minecraft (or anything else)?
You might also check to make sure you have the latest updated version.
