Basically if you're at the very edge of a block (coords .275 - .2999 or .725 to .7001 , which is the furthest you can get in a block) and you crouch, you cannot move.

Yes MCPE-142189 does describe the issue in a similar way, since a chest is .025 smaller than a block, you cannot move while crouching at the edge
