[MCPE-170227] Can't do more than 6 banner patterns

You can't even go past 6 banner patterns in bedrock. Is this WAI? I also hacked banner wearing through NBT editors. Now I can be an illager captain. Base is absent in the looms whenever I try to replicate the illager banner, as it is replaced with something else

However, this issue is Working as Intended.

The report you have submitted is working as intended: The maximum number of banner patterns that a a unique banner can have applied is 6.

Please note, that mechanics of the game may change between updates.
Things such as graphics, sounds, world creation, biomes, redstone, villagers, and animals may not work the same in current versions.
