I'm experiencing an issue with the gradation of light in the darkest spaces in the game. Currently, lighting does not have a smoothing effect on blocks, which results in low quality textures. I suggest adding a gradient effect to reduce the light intensity as the object moves away from the light source. This would significantly improve the visual quality of the game and make the user experience more enjoyable.

This seems to be an issue with non-full blocks like stairs, slabs, and even powder snow.
With stairs and slabs, though, it particularly occurs on the faces of the blocks that can be in direct contact with other blocks... Like the sides of a slab or stair, the top of a top slab, the bottom of a bottom slab... etc.
This is easiest to see with brightly-colored blocks, like quartz.
