Currently playing on PlayStation 5, I’ve used multiple name tags on zombies, and endermites and after some time they will de-spawn. I have been able to leave the chunk they are loaded in for a short time and return with no problem. Yet it seems like after moving over 150 blocks away for an extended amount of time they will despawn. Both mobs are kept safe so they don’t/can’t die. I can’t find any information on this anywhere but it’s really frustrating as my farms are not working. I haven’t tried to experiment with more mobs because I don’t want to keep losing name tags. I don’t have any visuals to add to this issue as it is hard/impossible to actually watch it happen.
