Sniffer eggs oddly hard to find

I don't know if it's normal but I searched for hours in warm ocean ruins to find sniffer egg but everytime there was suspicious sand, it contained pottery sherds or tools. 

Steps to reproduce :

  1. Find a warm ocean

  2. Go to an ocean ruin

  3. Find suspicious sandg

  4. Brush the sand

  5. There won't be sniffer egg
