So I've made this bug report because quite a while ago now as you know keyboard and mouse support came out for iPads and iPhones now iPads only had a couple issues with the keyboard and mouse support like the mouse cursor not dissapearing BUT that was FIXED in the next I think 3 or 4 updates in the 1.19 category. Keyboard and mouse on IPHONES is a completely different story.
ISSUE #1
First of all when you are using a keyboard and mouse on an iPHONE they're NO MOUSE CURSOR whatsoever. This means you can not click on the play button on the first screen or any of the servers you have to MANUALLY click the screen to select what you want to do.
ISSUE #2
when u go into a world or a server the same concept from the first issue still applies if you want to go to settings on the pause screen where it show
resume game
settings
marketplace(this only show up on servers)
and the save and quit
You again have MANUALLY press the ui items with your hand.
Now there aren't any problems with the actual PVP against other players BUT when you go into your inventory you CANT SELECT ITEMS WITH THE MOUSE BECAUSE THERE IS NOT A MOUSE CURSOR the same problem from the first issue the mouse cursor that ipad users can use is NOT there for iPhones whatsoever.
This means that you have to resort to either using your FINGERS to SELECT items in the INVENTORY, or you have to use the ARROW KEYS ON THE KEYBOARD and as you could infer this is extremely slow and beats the purpose of having mouse support when the mouse cursor doesn't appear on the screen.
Whoever is reading this, after watching lots of videos and seeing other reports about this i emphasise that this is AN IPHONE ONLY ISSUE this does not affect IPADS in ANY WAY because they already had their bugs fixed.
now in the attached video below i show you all of the issues which emphasises that ON ALL IPHONES THE MOUSE CURSOR IS NON EXISTANT
i was hoping that this had been fixed in the new 1.20 but it HADNT and the issue still persists
i dont know why the other bug reports have been flagged as resolved because this definitely has NOT been resolved and is affecting all IPHONE keyboard and mouse players.
This affects all the iOS software versions that still run minecraft by the way.

Forgive me for my earlier comment, I must be misunderstanding something.
From my experience, iPhones don't have native mouse support, but that could be different in iOS 16. Unfortunately, I don't have a new enough iPhone to test with, so I'll have to ask some friends of mine to test and see if it is possible to reproduce the issue on their iPhones.
Make sure they are using an otg adapter or a bluetooth keyboard and mouse
This bug isnt new it has been highlighted by other reports before but wasnt ever fixed im not sure what that difference is on ipad to iphone that removes the visibility or appearance of the cursor and then tell them to try and use the inventory and they will also notice that you cant usr the mouse to press play or worlds
And also yes iphones have mouse AND keyboard support just like ipad (they got it at the same time) but for some reason on iphones the circular mouse cursor in the inventory and menus doesnt appear so unusable
