Minecraft cannot load the world.
When trying to enter the world/create a new one, Minecraft stops loading the world at the moment of "Appearance is taking a long time to load. Proceeding with world generation..."
I've been waiting for over an hour, I don't think I have such a bad SSD and CPU that it would work that badly. The music continues to play, on the latest stable version of Minecraft everything is fine.
My PC:
CPU - AMD Ryzen 3 2200U
RAM - 8 GB
GPU - AMD Radeon Vega 3 Graphics 1 GB

Are you saying that you have fixed the issue by changing those files in your pack?
Otherwise, please attach the pack that causes the issue.

Removed it from the pack, taking this file from 1.20 and edited all the same does not work. Here is the full package (without changes)
[media]. Before 1.20.20.23 everything worked like a clock work
It's very possible that something you are using within the specific format is causing it to malfunction. I highly recommend not having anything alter those files if it can be avoided as Mojang doesn't make such things easy to understand or modify.
I spend a lot of my time developing packs and it was running smoothly in 1.20.1 but when 1.20.10 came out, the world stopped loading and like the post said it would show
"Appearance is taking a long time to load. Proceeding with world generation..."
I managed to get the world to load after a couple hours of trying to figure out what the problem was. I found out the problem was the inventory_screen.json and the pocket version of it when I deleted them and loaded the world again.
Only reason I have them is to prevent players on my realm from accessing the crafting panel in their inventory.
I am also having the same issue, but on an XBox One instead of a PC. The problem started with the download of a resource pack from the MineCraft Marketplace, Mob Morph. I see no way to disable the resource pack.
The error "Appearance is taking a long time to load. Proceeding with world generation" appears on my Google Pixel device running 1.20.32 for Android. This happens every time I open an on-device world. I have no resource packs activated – neither at the global level nor at the world level. The error does not impede world loading. After a short dwell time, the message disappears and the world loads.
Thank you for your report!
After consideration, the issue is being closed as Won't Fix.
Please note that this is not the same as Working as Intended, as this bug report correctly describes behavior in the game that might not be the intended or desirable behavior, but it will not be fixed right now. Sometimes, this is because the issue reported is minor and/or impossible to change without large architectural changes to the code base.

The problem was one file in the resource pack, it is worth noting that this resource pack works perfectly on the latest release.
The files were:
inventory_screen.json
