Unable to stack signs on top of each other with release of v1.20.1 on iOS. For some reason it keeps taking me to the sign edit screen, or when waxed with honeycomb, it does nothing. I can only place one sign now and can't stack anything on top.

However, this issue is Working as Intended.
The report you have submitted is working as intended: you need to crouch first to place any block on a sign. Interacting with them while not in sneaking mode opens the edit menu.
Please note, that mechanics of the game may change between updates.
Things such as graphics, sounds, world creation, biomes, redstone, villagers, and animals may not work the same in current versions.
