Pressing F11 while an item is in a slot of a block GUI crashes the game

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Place and open a crafting table

2. Place an item in one of the crafting table's slots

3. Press F11

Observed Results:
Game crashes.

Expected Results:
Game switches to windowed or fullscreen mode.

Notes:
This issue doesn't occur in 1.20.15.
