Was playing in the nether draining a lava lake with sand and when ever i got close to the lava i would sometimes catch fire and then i stepped on a sand blok and it deleted under my feet lost 25 beds 4 stacks of sand 8 stacks of gravel and a stone shovel please fix this

Sand can catch fire from what I understand. A video recording would probably really help.
