The glint strength slider has no effect on armor

My armor is at the minimum glint level, even when the setting is set to the maximum.

The glint strength slider does have an effect on armor. The glint is just weaker now, which is intentional per the 1.20.40 changelog:

Equipped enchanted armor now has an overall weaker glint, however its intensity more noticeably increases and decreases over time
