Steps to recreate
Go into settings then Video then change UI Profile to Classic.
Go in to Minecraft world
Then go to survival open crafting table
Look in the craft book for blast furnace if you search it is there but not in the item page

All necessary blocks must be obtained before the recipe will appear.

UPDATE it shows up if I have smooth stone in my inventory. Also I forgot to put in it that I have recipe unlocking on and I don't know how that works so it is prolly just a feature of the recipe unlocking.
