My daughter and I play Minecraft survival mode together via our LAN. She plays on my windows 10 desktop. The save file is maintained on this device. She is not reporting any issues with her character. However since the update to 0.16.0 the game is much laggier on my Samsung Galaxy J3. What is worse though is what happens when we log off for the night. The next time we play one item will be missing from my inventory(Samsung Galaxy J3). Possibly whatever I had selected when we logged off though I cannot confirm. I have lost two diamond pick axes and a stack of meat.

Was your daughter feeding animals? This could be the bug earlier reported in MCPE-17606
When feeding animals the used item (for example wheed) is pushed into the inventory of other players.
