Many gamers playing on tablet are experiencing messed up mouse axis problems after receiving the latest Android updates on their device.
It works normally on the Minecraft main screen, but when you enter the game, there is a bug where the mouse axis changes from X+ to Y+ and Y+ to X-.
I'm using Lenovo P11 2nd Gen with a Bluetooth Logitech mouse. I've troubleshooted by hard resetting the entire device and using a different mouse. Problem persists still after that.

I am facing the exact same issue Mojang, and it seems to be with android 13. Please take a little bit of your time and fix this issue for us.
I'm surprised this is still an issue since last December. Is there a workaround to get the mouse to work?
I recently bought my daughter a tablet to play Minecraft on as a reward for good grades. It's a real bummer that this is preventing me from giving her the gift.
Almost all phones using Android 13 have this problem, even though the game is playing in landscape mode, the mouse direction works in portrait mode, this problem has been around since 2023 and has not been completely fixed yet. How long do we have to wait to solve this problem Mojang!!!!
I use tablet all the time and can't use touch to play because it's too big. I bought a lot of products on Marketplace but have to play them in uncomfortable conditions. Maybe we have to wait for a big update like 1.22. Although I don't have much hope for this.
Same here, I playing Minecraft in android 13 using Itel s23 plus. But the Axis problem only work at the main screen

After consideration, the issue is being closed as Won't Fix.
Please note that this is not the same as Working as Intended, as this bug report correctly describes behavior in the game that might not be the intended or desirable behavior, but it will not be fixed right now. Sometimes, this is because the issue reported is minor and/or impossible to change without large architectural changes to the code base.
