Two Villagers Bound to one workstation

I’m starting up my trading hall on my new realm with my friend and I’m focusing on doing the librarians first, but when I have a villager bound to a work station, the villagers that I’m breeding that have just grown up, are locking onto the workstations that are already bound to a villager. I’ve made sure countless times that there are no lecterns sitting around and there’s not. I’m not sure if there’s something wrong with me having them turned to zombie villagers and then curing them, but I read somewhere that after having them cured, their locked onto the trades, but even then, after curing they had their set lectern and trades. The whole ordeal with this has put me completing my trading hall to a halt. Two villagers are locking onto one workstation and then when I try to fix it, the workstations they’re locked onto turns into a different one that they were locked onto. I’m confused and the situation is so confusing,  so my apologies if this isn’t explained properly.
