If you try to eat an apple when your hunger bar is full you shouldn't be able to do it, however I tested in this newest version and you can eat apples even when not hungry. I tested it on Java just to see if this is normal and it doesn't happen on there. I tested it whith my hunger bar full, the difficulty was set to normal.
