Cannot mine blocks in survival mode when buttons are mapped to switch Pro controller z bumpers

When the attack/destroy button is mapped to a switch Pro controller bumper, in survival mode you cannot break any blocks because the game does not recognise the button is being held down (this happens at about 0:01 of the video). Also when placing blocks with the left bumper, the game does not recognise that it is being held down and because of this when you want to place blocks in a line quickly, you cannot so you will have to place them each one by one (this happens in the video at about 0:18). This is only with the ZL and ZR buttons on the switch and not with the smaller bumpers as the L and R bumpers work normally.

I also did a test with an online website so I know its not my tablet bugging or my controller bugging and it showed that the website recognised that the top bumpers were being held down so it is an issue with minecraft and not any of my hardware.

Also the reason the block broke when I was in creative was because all blocks break on the first frame when in creative mode so the button didn't need to be held down
