In Minecraft bedrock edition on ps5 where ever you sleep should respawn you back there. If you go mining and you get blown up by a creeper or killed by an enemy should respawn you back to the last place you slept and then you try to get your items back in time where you last was.
Few times I got killed in a mine was respawning me back to the first place I started in my world that’s incorrect

Did you break the bed after sleeping / setting your respawn point? If you break the bed where your respawn point is set, it will revert to world spawn.
