Disconnected bedrock client consumes excessive memory (10X) after server disconnect

Environment: SMP server with a 4 hour restart cycle connected with windows client.  At night, I start an AFK session right after server restart.  After 4 hours, the server restarts again, disconnecting my session.  4-5 hours later, I come back to my PC to find minecraft on the "Server disconnected" screen but the application is unresponsive.  Checking windows task manager shows that RAM usage has increased unexpectedly.  Normal game play does not see this problem.  Normal RAM usage is less than 1GB.  See attached.

Improved input response is not turned on as reported in MCPE-179496
