as someone who makes addons/mods for bedrock this is very important for making things such as custom food, and various items. I see this component not working in many marketplace addons/mods and I feel like that is not very acceptable to be having paid addons/mods not work at their best. This really puts a huge damper on the creativity of the bedrock modding/addon community, and the quality of paid addons. Because of this component not working, many addon/bedrock mod makers have had to take out this component, as it would crash and break the addon if it were to be left in. Hopefully this bug gets fixed in an eventual patch!🙏🙏
