You're invalid. I know it's not your fault specifically, but Mojang/Microsoft don't make it easy to find/report issues. And this is where I was taken when I tried to report it not updating. It's super frustrating to be circle jerked around and pointed to different places without being helped by anyone.

have you checked the windows store? the minecraft launcher didnt show me the update either but it started downloading when i opened the windows store? idk maybe this helps. goodluck
