my launcher says my game is updated but when i open my game it is still on 1.20.81 instead of 1.21

try updating the game from the windows store, if that doesn't work, you can try to make a backup of your files that are stored in "C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MinecraftUWP_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\games\com.mojang" and reinstall the game
