Inventory Bug

Good evening! 
I play on Mobile and I noticed a small bug. I do not own an Xbox yet so Mobile is the only thing I can play on at the present moment. But, due to this particular bug I am unable to play in any servers or lobbies. The inventory at the bottom of the screen does not work. Here is what I mean, I just started a new world. I turned on cheats (I like to switch to creative and build a base then back to survival), turned on starting chest and map. Those are my usual settings. I go into the world, and I cannot get off the starting map. I tap and tap and tap, but it will not switch to a different spot. I could not even open the starting chest due to this as well. Now, I know what you're thinking. Maybe it is because the cheats are on and those particular settings are causing the issue. I can assure you it is not the settings, I have several creative worlds, and another survival world without those settings in place. The same thing happens. I love Minecraft, it's a game to help me calm down and relax. But, with this issue. I cannot play. I can't open any inventory menus in any world, I cannot switch to a different box when playing, I cannot even open chests (makes it very hard when I am playing on The Hive and play Just-To-Build). I spent $6.99 on this game, I've had it for a while. I would love to keep playing it but until this issue is resolved I cannot play. Please, I am begging. Fix this bug. I want to be able to play and build again. Thank you for taking your time out of your day to reading this.
