In Minecraft for Windows 11 latest, holding the Ctrl key to sprint prevents the player from jumping, limiting mobility.

Title: fix: Resolve issue preventing jumping while sprinting with Ctrl key

Description:
Observed behavior:

  • When holding the Ctrl key to sprint in Minecraft, the player is unable to jump.

  • This issue affects gameplay by limiting mobility and the ability to perform actions that require simultaneous sprinting and jumping.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open Minecraft on Windows 11.
2. Enter any game mode or world.
3. Hold down the Ctrl key to initiate sprinting.
4. Attempt to jump using the spacebar.

Expected behavior:

  • The player should be able to jump while sprinting with the Ctrl key pressed.

Actual behavior:

  • The player remains unable to jump when the Ctrl key is held down, interrupting the sprinting action.

Environment:

  • Windows 11

  • Minecraft version: 1.21.2

Proposed Solution:

  • Investigate the keybinding logic associated with sprinting and jumping.

  • Ensure that the input handling for the Ctrl key allows for simultaneous jumping when pressed with the spacebar.
