This issue is existent with texture packs that are 32x resolution or higher. All horse armor appears to render invisible on horses, and iron golems additionally appear “corrupted” with a purple and black texture. I’ve attached a 32x resolution texture pack where the issue is existent to the report.
For any moderator or helper that wants to reproduce;
1. Download the dgr_faithful 32x resource pack attached to the report and add it to your game
2. Launch Minecraft and apply the resource pack via global resources
3. Create a creative world, spawn a horse, tame the horse, and put any kind of horse armor on it
Expected results: The horse armor is supposed to be visible on the horse
Actual results: The horse armor is not visible on the horse
Additionally, a moderator, a helper, or the reporter themselves should re-title this report to specify that horse armor doesn’t render on horses specifically when using resource packs with 32x resolution or higher 👍🏼
※Resolved? Nothing has changed for me. I have horse armor equipped, but it looks like I have no equipment... (※I wonder if it's because I'm using an external resource pack? It's just for appearance, so I don't really care, so it's resolved (lol)

Per MCPE-186112 (and I can confirm) a 32x resource pack is not necessary, an empty resource pack with just a manifest can be used to reproduce the issue.
I'm on Xbox and it doesn't render at all. The same horse viewed on my iPad renders the armor perfectly.

A similar issue I'm finding is that if the horse behavior.json is modified at all, horse armor will not render.
Tested using an exact copy of the horse behavior.json from the bedrock samples and I'm finding that the horse armor will not render at all.
