I think it's called the Merchant. I turned off all MOB spawning months ago. After a recent upgrade, a MOB is being generated often that walks around with a chest and boxes and lamps hanging off of him. It's not the trader. Shouldn't selecting MOB spawning off prevent this?

City Texture Pack by Minecraft
Furniture HD Add-On by Square Dreams
City Pack resource pack for City Pack
Furniture Add-On by Honeyfrost
Vehicles Add-On by DalibuStudios
Furniture Add-On by XP Games
Does the issue occur in a world with only the City texture pack (or no packs)?
What happens if you try to interact with that mob?
I have been removing add-ons one at a time to see if the MOB appears.
Yesterday I removed Furniture Add-on by XP Games.
After several hours, the MOB has not appeared.
He still spawned with add-ons by Square D and Honey Frost removed.
He also still spawned with City texture pack by Minecraft removed.
I will continue with the XP Games furniture add-on removed...
