I am missing the inbox on the main menu after the realm issues and I am unable to see what the compensation is for not being able to use my realm for almost a whole week.

Try clicking the bell icon in the bottom left corner of the Home Screen of Minecraft.
Also check if you have the 660 Minecoins and the DLC by Pixelbiester in the Marketplace. (That's the compensation)

I think they mean that they haven't got a notification about the compensation when entering Minecraft.
I got the notification on my device.
Is the bell button still not present on the main menu?
