I have been researching for hours and did not find any solution for this bug that occurs on our world created a few days ago on the latest version of Minecraft for ps4 (ps5). We went to two different trail chambers and none of them have working trial reward chests (the ones with the skull on them). We are aware of the different types of chests and keys, however nothing works as planned.
