In Java edition, particles align themselves with the view vector of the camera.
This makes particles appear as if they have depth and were in a 2D game, fitting Minecraft's intended look and feel.
In Bedrock edition, particles face the camera, creating perspective warping that makes the particles look off and makes them clearly paper thin and 3D, which does not fit Minecraft's intended look and feel.
