Players are forced to use the overpriced and closed source universal minecraft tool’s world converter to convert worlds to XboxOne Edition from Xbox 360 Edition because the feature is broken.
steps to reproduce:
Upload post aquatic update save to cloud
Retrieve save on Xbox One Edition
attempt to load save
Expected result: load into the world
actual result: met with an error
The main problem with this is that the only alternative is a closed source 3rd party software that is widely considered way overpriced . + Mojang shouldn’t exactly be forcing people to pay for and download 3rd party software when a bug like this is easily fixable.
I understand that the console editions aren’t exactly supported anymore but I would really appreciate the fixing of this bug as this is the single biggest issue the console versions have. We really shouldn’t be forced into paying for software like this.
Yes it is a feature that is broken and needs fixing.
