Volumetric Fog renders incorrectly with Mali GPU

Description of Problem:
The volumetric fog in Minecraft Bedrock does not function correctly on devices with Mali GPU. Since version 1.20.60.21, enabling this feature with any Physically Based Rendering (PBR) resource causes the screen to darken significantly, displaying bright, scattered pixels and resulting in intense lag that affects gameplay and performance. This issue persists across all quality settings (low, medium, high, or ultra) and currently has no temporary solution. Disabling volumetric fog is the only workaround, limiting the ability to use deferred rendering.

Technical Details:

  • Platform: Minecraft Bedrock Edition

  • Affected Devices: Those with Mali GPU

  • Affected Version: 1.20.60.21 and later

  • Affected Configurations: All quality settings (low, medium, high, or ultra)

  • Affected Resources: Any Physically Based Rendering (PBR) resource

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Open Minecraft Bedrock Edition on a device with Mali GPU.
2. Enable volumetric fog in any quality setting (low, medium, high, or ultra).
3. Exit settings menu and return to game's main screen.
4. Observe screen immediately upon entering: it turns dark with random bright pixels.
5. Move character or adjust camera/view, noting significant lag and frame rate drops.

Expected Behavior:
Volumetric fog should render smoothly and correctly, maintaining normal screen brightness and stable performance on devices with Mali GPU.

also does not work in vibrant visuals, heres a screenshot of me in the pale garden
the sky is the right color, but the fog should be much denser
you can also see areas of the sky where the sky is much darker, as if it tried to render
those are the darker areas in the sky in my screenshot (they were darker but they fade pretty quickly)
pls fix this makes a big part of vibrant visuals a lot worse for a lot of ppl

also happens in 1.21.90, 1.21.91, 1.21.92, 1.21.93, and 1.21.94
