Bug with the recent Event Button

gonna type EXACTLY HOW IT HAPPENED:

Was on 1.21.44 until i saw the event for the creaking and stuff, so i clicked it, but then i saw "Update Required" but ofcuz i still clicked on it cuz why not... then "unabl to join Outdated client" then Microsoft store - Updated - launched... now this is where it is... it still says update required ...
