In specific worlds Bamboo Blocks are Uncraftable/Unobtainable, as the recipe does not function.
My theory is that because the world was created in an older version when the "old world" type existed, it somehow broke it.
Recipe unlock is disabled.
Steps to reproduce;
Launch Minecraft on a Nintendo switch via cartridge without updating it, create a world with the "old" world type, I used seed 1405715475, I do not know if this is required, but I did it in survival and filled out the map.
After the world is created, save and exit, then update the game.
Once it has updated, relaunch the world and craft a bamboo block ((with the seed provided there is bamboo around 81, 94, 217 (but only after the world is updated.))
The expected result is that it will not allow you to craft the block.
Old worlds are version locked to 1.17.40, which is intended. See https://feedback.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/articles/4411688594317-Old-Worlds-Types-in-Minecraft-Bedrock-Edition-FAQ for more information.
