I was killed by an enderman underground and respawned at a completely random spot instead at the bed that I previously slept in. Once I got back to where I died, all of my items I dropped, were gone. I managed to get back to the spot I died within the day (Minecraft day) that I respawned, and I didn't die, so the items should've been there.
