Some translations of the French localizations inconsistently use the typographic apostrophe ( ’ ) instead of the straight apostrophe ( ' ). While both characters represent the same punctuation, the typographic apostrophe causes texts to display in a fallback font that stands out from the standard Minecraft font. This is especially noticeable when different apostrophes are used in very similar translations (see attached images).
Here are a few examples, though there are many more instances. The straight apostrophe ( ' ) should be used globally to replace the typographic apostrophe ( ’ ) across all French translations.
This is especially bad in the Ocean Explorer Map Canada translation, where both apostrophes are used in the same string.
