Can't swim upward when using a swap button in D-pad when you're in water

I don't know if this is a bug or not but I can't swim upward when I enabled the swap jump new D-pad button. It's making me lose interest playing like im losing motivation because of the new D-pad button. But honestly it's good that the new D-pad button is here. but when I enabled the swap jump button, and jumps into the water, I can't swim upward. This happens too in version 1.20.70 until now.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Enable the D-Pad Swap jump and sneak button

2. Jump into water.

3.Hold the forward button.

4. Gently swipe it down to the jump button
