If the player hitting the edge of the generated world, their horizontal velocity is maintained, but they fall downward.

If the player moves faster than the screen loading speed while in midair, causing chunk loading to lag behind, they are expected to remain in place (floating) while maintaining their current velocity. This behavior was introduced as a specification change in the 1.21.40 update.

However, in reality, instead of floating, the player falls vertically even while the chunks are still loading (despite not moving horizontally). Once the chunks are loaded, the player resumes moving at their original horizontal speed, but since they have lost altitude, they cannot travel as far as intended.

As a result, it becomes difficult for players to maintain high-speed travel methods.
