Preventing user changes?

I'm just wondering are you guys some how preventing players from going in and making game changes such as switching creative to survival and back, and changing skins? When I use Iexplorer to go in and change the skin code it does nothing and when I switch from creative to survival it messes up the whole game for multi player.
