One of my cousins is hosting a world on her Nintendo Switch. I and her sister join (her sister is on another Switch and I’m on a Windows 10 PC). For some reason, I’m getting flung around everywhere. Every time I take about 20 steps forward, I get sent about 30 steps back.
I asked my cousin hosting the world about it, and she said that her sister would be experiencing similar issues (though luckily in that moment her sister was not experiencing such a game-breaking problem).
Me getting sent back would cause lots of gameplay issues: I’d be sent to the bottom of the ocean floor where I’d have to swim for my Minecraft life, I’d get pushed off of a cliff and die to fall damage, etc.
Reproducing this may be a bit of a challenge: for you would need 2 Nintendo Switches with 2 copies of the game and a Windows 10 PC with the latest updates and with a copy of the game. Also, it’s important to note that I live in Montreal whilst my cousins live in Laval and there was slightly bad weather in Montreal - those 2 aspects may be factors for this glitch - and I had just recently updated the game as well.
Best of luck. (Sorry I don’t have any footage of the event.)
