Game hangs on launch without Internet

Minecraft never reaches the menu screen. We are experiencing an Internet outage, and it's preventing the game from launching. Interestingly, we also have a Nintendo Switch in our household with its own versionof Bedrock . While there is a notable delay, it does appear to launch, implying this is an issue unique to the PS5 (and possibly the PS5 build of Bedrock)
