This affects Xbox (where I had the issue), Playstation, and Switch players who have new UI that has been rolling out. All console players in past would scroll down to bottom of page to see a sync old worlds button (see image to see the button at the bottom in Old UI, ignore error). The new UI that was pushed, with no way to off, forgot to include the button at the end in both grid and list view.
This is a major critical issue for anyone who hasn’t transferred their old worlds, mainly anyone who decides to do so in the future. Rolling out the UI without considering this is lacking care to preserve old worlds and memories. You should want people coming to bedrock from legacy, so this should be fixed. Not fixing this will cause pain to anyone wanting to preserve or test Legacy worlds (my friend is very depressed about this)
How to recreate:
Make sure to have some worlds on the Legacy version of Minecraft to test with
Go on Minecraft Bedrock on one of the mentioned consoles
Click “Play” button
On “Worlds” tab (test both grid and list view) go to last page
Go to the bottom to see a sync old worlds button
Click it to get more worlds to load from Legacy Console Edition
Click selected world to transfer it
What is expected:
there to be a button at the very end of the last page
there be button to sync old Legacy Console Edition worlds
the world would transfer to Bedrock
clicking it brings up the 1.18 message for increased world height below and above world
Then you should be able to play said world in bedrock
What is happening:
The button doesn’t even appear at the end, probably due to new UI not even having a button for it
This make all the transfer code redundant since there is no way to use it
This fully removes any previous way to bring old worlds to legacy, causing sadness in returning players

From the 1.20.30 changelog:
Moved "Sync Old Worlds" button to the Settings/Storage screen
It hasn’t been there for a long time, you have to go in the storage part of settings.
