/testfor command ignoring block states

In my world I have several /testfor commands running on repeating command blocks. These are connected to wireless lever and pressure plate systems. In the latest update, these all refuse to work properly. The pre-update command blocks still work as intended, but any new ones I make with identical command strings ignore the specifications for block states. This means: no matter which way a lever is facing or if a pressure plate is being powered, the command will run anyways. Please fix this, as I am working on a very large project.
