These problems started with the second to last update but have become much worse in the most recent update. You can't walk on soul sand with soul speed 3 boots at the moment as you rubber band constantly. I can't place blocks by dragging because of block lag they must be placed one at a time and there are massive lag spikes and chunk loading errors constantly. Flying with elytra over new terrain is pretty much impossible now. I'm on a next gen console with good internet. I have never had issues like this in the past. I play on a realm with several people and many of them that play on PC are experiencing similar issues.
