im using a rx7800xt and a r7 5800x. everytime i boot the game and head over to my world ray traced is always disabled. im using the natural texture pack. not sure if this is a bug or support for this pack is neglected or the new announced feature recently announce has not been released yet.

so what your saying is they have neglected their own texture packs and lied that raytracing will be released in their latest update according to their trailer. thats fine. i was understood that the new raytraced option in settings willl genarally cover all their texture packs mojang created. so what you are saying its basically for modded texture packs made outside the official developer textures. and raytracing is the biggestr con feature they announced. i was told by the trailer the new raytraced feature would not matter of what texture pack was available. if its exclusive to the core texture packs well thats extremely disapointing. as i have stated im using the official natural textures pack made by mojang not modded by third party developers. if there are no plans to improve this pack by mojand and microsoft then thats pretty bad considering i paid for the texture pack.
i did watch the minecraft livestream the other week. it got me hyped to use ray tracing. i tried it on the not preview version of minecraft after the promised update still disabled. i moved my world to the preview version of minecraft expecting to get access to raytracing also disabled. its been disabled for a few years now… is it only exclusive to java or nvidia?
Do you also have a ray tracing capable resource pack enabled? Ray tracing can't be enabled without one.
