schrodingers boat

so you can get stuck in a boat when it lags on bedrock like it has been doing. it allows client side player to roam in any loaded chunks and temporaraly break blocks, and the boat will move like it’s possessed. you have to break the boat you where in to escape. i called it schrodingers boat because you are both in and out of the boat.

how to repeat: hop in a boat, preferably on a low end device or a realm, wait for it to start lagging, and jump out of the boat.

expected results: you either are forced back in the boat or allowed out when the game catches up.

observed results: the server side thinks you are still in and driving the boat, but the client thinks that the player is out of the boat.
